Hi to all,

PolarFIS Can reader is a software that allows you to "sniff" all part of communication of your vehicle with one unit of Polar FIS+ or FIS+ Advanced.
This data is very important for development of all our products and helps us to improve it step by step.

This software allows :

Give better support to end user (final customer) more easily and effective
Increase at max. data recopilation for all kind of vehicles
Upgrade FIS products with non-supported configurations
Solve problems more quick (decrease time)
If you have one vehicle with any of our products PolarFIS [PF02 y PF03], and you face any problem or non-working function, please use it for dump part of communication and help us to improve and fix quickly your problem. You only must select option that you desire to "sniff", and start the process (very easy) Infortainment. In this mode, all data related to the communication between the box and the FIS will be logged. This mode is indicated for issues related to menu crashes, battery drain, etc.]

Motor: In this mode, all data related to the communication with the engine ECU will be saved. This mode is indicated for problems with parameter reading.
Diagnostics: Al data related with the diagnostics communication will be saved. Indicated for problems obtaining the Bordnetz or Comfort ECUs reference or coding functions such rain or light sensor modification, DRLfs, etc.
Blinkers: Save all data related with the Blinkers. Indicated for issues with blinker lights.
Mirrors: Save data related with the mirror lowering function of Polar FIS. Indicated for issues with that function.
Parktronic: Save data related with the Parktronic OPS emulation function of Polar FIS. Indicated for issues with that function.
Processor A: Special mode not commonly used, new instructions will be provided in case that it will be necessary to use.
Processor B: Special mode not commonly used, new instructions will be provided in case that it will be necessary to use.

looks nice.. I'm curious about logged data from the ECU, it will include communications between ECU and other units?

What seems to be the problem, installation of usb drivers or running the tool?

You must install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package if you don't already have it installed on your pc for the tool to work.

Please download the correct version for your version of Windows.
vcredist_x86.exe is for 32 bit Windows
vcredist_x64.exe is for 64 bit Windows

When i click on the Polar_FIS_CAN_Reader icon i get this message!!!
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on ok to terminate the application.

Hmm, Golfman did you install the correct version of Visual C+ for your version of windows from my link?

Perhaps I should have been clearer in my earlier post as although the main download button on that page is for 32 bit Windows, if you scroll to the bottom of the page you should see the linkage to the 64 bit version under "What others are downloading".

This page gives you the latest version of both 32 (vcredist_x86.exe) and 64 (vcredist_x64.exe) bit versions http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=21576

If you've installed the incorrect version please uninstall it and run the correct one from the above link.

Hi all.

It's indicated in the manual :) You'll need the runtime, but the link of golfman don't work, this is the correct link:

You must installa the x86 runtime, even if you have Windows x86 or x64, because the application works in 32 bit mode.
