Polar Fis+ is a new interface for vehicles from VAG Group that shows some parameters of the engine in the navigation screen.
If your car have a Fis+ navigation screen, and appears in the list of supported vehicles, you will be able to add some "extra" features.
 
Installing device is very easy and you not need to solder or make complex operations, you will find full detailed instructions about it in our official support forum (www.Auto-Polar.com/forum)

 
Here is the list of cars supported, is possible that other vehicles can be supported (we will complete list as soon as we detect it), for the moment this are confirmed :

DESCRIPTION AND ADITIONAL ADVANTAGES (against other products in market)
 
- POLAR FIS+ is compatible with free-hands OEM and FISCON, not like other products, POLAR FIS+ not use "Telephone" menu of FIS, we use a new menu

called POLAR FIS+

- Name of this new menu is totally customizable, means you can add name that you desire (till 10 characters)
- Option of switch-off POLAR FIS+ for make indetectable when you make official revisions.
FIS will be reactivated using OK key in the steering wheel, or using windshield wipers lever for 10 seconds.
- Automatic detection of language selected in the FIS (Germany, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Czech)
- Automatic detection of temperature units (ºC, ºF), Speed (kmh/mph) and Measure (Litters/Gallons) selected in the FIS.
- Keys of steering wheel/windshield wiper lever customizable
 
Possible to configure keys for do this features inside POLAR FIS+ menu :

 * Volumen modify.
 * Change audio track.
 * Change parameters showed in the bottom line of the POLAR FIS+ screen.
 
Posible to configure the keys in the audio menu for do this too:
 
 * Volumen modify.
 * Change audio track.
 
Interesting for cars with steering wheel not installed from factory and with this keys not working
 
IMPORTANT : In cars without steering wheel multifunction implemented, option for change audio track will not be available.

IMPORTANT NOTES :
 
- Polar FIS+ is not compatible with the new instrument panels called "white" that shows permanently external temperature in the FIS, by the way, we are working for support this new models, and soon you will have news about it.
 
- We detected some models of ECU engine old, that not gives info about temperature of engine oil, then this can be not showed, we are trying to offer you a complete list of engine models ECU affected.
 
- About turbo pressure, not all ECU engine models send this info via vehicle data bus, then this info can be not available, for the moment we detected incompatibilities with ECU MED9 and MED17/EDC17 models.
